Be the Change.... Mahatma Gandi once said, "You must be the change you want to see in the world." The Faithworks Institute is a program of The Connecticut Office of Faith-based and Community-based initiatives, thanks to the support from Governor M. Jodi Rell and the state of Connecticut. Through this seven day, cutting-edge, curriculum, faith-based and grass roots leaders gain the econonmic development and management skills to be catalysts for community change. The FaithWorks Community Development Leadership Institute's purpose is to develop those with a commitment to collaborate with local residents, government, philanthropic and business leaders to increase assets in distressed communities across Connecticut, to reduce the negative impacts of poverty.
